The MAK dedicates the first personal exhibition in Austria to My Ullmann (1905–1995), one of the co-founders of Kinetism.April 17, 2024—September 1, 2024MAK KunstseitensaalAfter her training at the Vienna School of Applied Arts under the reformer of youth art Franz Čižek, Ullmann initially worked as an artist and commercial artist. Crystalline shapes and curved lines characterize her work, which was shaped by many stages in her life - including Berlin, Münster, Zurich and most recently Konstanz. Maria Ullmann, who signed as “My”, left behind a comprehensive oeuvre: stage and costume designs, artistic room and wall designs from her own my studio or art in buildings, with which she continued her kinetic early work in her late work.

The exhibition and the accompanying catalog are created in collaboration with the Städtische Wessenberg-Galerie Konstanz.
