Using 80 facsimile original documents (plans, sketches, drawings, letters and postcards), the book conveys the long-standing collaboration between the artist Dieter Roth and Hans Langenbacher, goldsmith in Lucerne and Reykjavik. The documents printed on different papers are stored in a folder. Additional photographic and textual material documents the entire, rich jewelry production. The book with the original documents and the executed rings was the occasion for exhibitions in the mak (Museum of Applied Arts), Vienna and Cologne, in the Aargauer Kunsthaus, Aarau, mudac Lausanne and in the Musée des arts décoratifs, Paris.
